The purple bar is basically telling you that you get that percentage of gathering the item automatically. Notice how it quickly fills up with blue. You dont have to wait for it, or HOPE that you get it. So I guess purple means guaranteed

The purple bar is basically telling you that you get that gathering percentage of the item automatically. Which means, you dont have to wait for it, its already there. Thats why it flys by and fills up with blue without having to wait

The names of the Asmodian items are not all correct for the European version.

Nice guide. You should also add the crit chances at higher lvl (chances to get blue/special components) I think it’s 5%/1%. It also depends on the node lvl as far as Aether is concerned.

I love your site. Awesome informaiton. I’m just dropping a note to let you know, you list of NA servers (http://www.aionfly.com/2009/09/list-of-aion-servers/) no longer matches the latest information coming from NCSoft.
